Kathmandu. Depositors of Karnali Development Bank have decided to form a struggle committee. The central struggle committee will be formed with each of the 19 branches of the bank spread across three districts.
They have already conceived the Karnali Bikas Bank Victims’ Struggle Committee on July 5 and are yet to finalize it.
Karnali Bikas Bank will have a central committee called Victims’ Struggle Committee while the lower level will have committees in all 19 branches.
The survivors had staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu against the failure to return their deposits deposited in Karnali Development Bank.
Depositors of 19 branches of the bank in Banke, Bardiya and Dang districts had gathered in Kathmandu and protested.
They complain that they have not been able to get their deposits back for a long time and the concerned authorities have not heeded their demands. They have demanded that the depositors should return their blood, sweat, sweat and hard work and remittance money.
