Prabhu Bank CEO Suman Sharma to surrender on Monday

Kathmandu. It has been revealed that Suman Sharma, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prabhu Bank, left Kathmandu and reached Parsa after an arrest warrant was issued against him. He was found to have reached Birgunj on Monday preparing to appear in the court.

A case has been registered against Sharma at the Parsa District Court on charges of cheating and criminal breach of trust related to the loan transaction of the then Sunrise Bank. The court has allowed his arrest on September 18 in the case filed by Anjali International.

Sharma, who was involved in the work of the bank for some time even after the arrest warrant was issued, later reached Parsa by initiating the process of force leave. Those close to him claim that he has made preparations with the expectation that he will appear in the court and face the legal process and be released on bail.

There is a legal provision that CEO Sharma will be automatically suspended after a criminal case is registered. However, it has also come to light that some senior officials of the bank’s board and regulator are trying to protect him. with charge sheet:
