Kathmandu. The government has decided to accept concessional loan worth 52 million US dollars and 5 million US dollars grant from the World Bank. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to recommend the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council to the President for approval. The meeting of the Council of Ministers decided to re-recommend the ordinance brought by the President for reconsideration, said government spokesperson Sashmit Pokharel.
President Ram Chandra Poudel had sent the ordinance back to the government for reconsideration.
The government has decided to accept concessional loan worth 52 million US dollars and 5 million US dollars grant from the World Bank. The meeting also decided to give approval in principle to the Agriculture Inputs Company Limited to purchase 60,000 metric tonnes of urea and 20,000 metric tonnes of DAP fertilizer from India through G2G medium.
These are the decisions of the cabinet meeting
1. To accept a concessional loan of US$ 52 million and a
grant of US$ 5 million from the World Bank for the purpose of providing loans to industries to replace conventional boilers with electronic boilers and to increase air quality measurement capacity.
2. Approval in principle will be given to Agriculture Inputs Company Limited to purchase 60,000 metric tonnes of urea and 20,000 metric tonnes of DAP fertilizer from India through G2
G medium.
3. Approval of revised master plan of Singha Durbar Complex including entry into the Parliament House Complex
4. To re-recommend the Constitutional Council (First Amendment) Ordinance 2083 to the Honorable President for promulgation of the Ordinance
