Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RJP) lawmaker Dhanendra Karki has been blacklisted by the bank. It has been revealed that an application has been filed against Dhanendra Karki, a lawmaker from Rastriya Swatantra Party Sindhuli Constituency No. 1, to be blacklisted at the bank bank.
It is claimed that Rs 1.8 million is yet to be paid for the house purchased 11 months ago in Khairahani Municipality of Chitwan.
Karki had bought a two-storey house belonging to Manoj Mahato at Khairahani of Chitwan for Rs 10 million.TAG_OPEN_p_10 It is said that the house owner Mahato was preparing to go abroad. During the purchase, Karki had paid Rs 70 lakh immediately and agreed to pay the remaining Rs 30 lakh.
The amount will be deposited in the bank account of Mahato’s father-in-law Rudal Mahato.TAG_OPEN_p_9
However, it has been claimed that the amount has not been paid as per the agreement and the cheque of ICFC Bank given by Karki has not been exchanged.TAG_OPEN_p_8 After this, Rudal Mahato filed a case of cheque bounce, due to which Karki’s bank account was also frozen.
According to sources, the case was withdrawn after Karki paid Rs 10 lakh after the swearing-in process of the lawmaker was affected due to the lawsuit.TAG_OPEN_p_7
