Kathmandu. The court has issued an arrest warrant against Muna KC on the charge of dishonouring the cheque. The Kathmandu District Court has directed the District Police Range, Kathmandu to take necessary action for the implementation of the verdict.
According to the court, the court had already decided to recover Rs 17.95 lakh from Muna KC in the cheque dishonour case and 10 percent interest annually until the payment was made from the date mentioned in the cheque.
After the verdict was upheld by the High Court, Patan, the defendant was given an opportunity to pay the amount. However, it has been revealed that the defendant has not paid the amount within the time limit given by the court.
According to the court’s order, the defendant can be released only after the completion of his sentence and after depositing the amount due in accordance with the law.
