. KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has launched an online collateral freeze service. KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has launched the mortgage mortgage and release service through the online system with an objective of providing services to the citizens in a quick, easy and predictable time as part of the government’s agenda of governance reforms.
Through this initiative, the service process has been transformed from the need to be physically present at the service provider’s office to a time-bound and completely electronic system. So far, more than 800 mortgages have been successfully released through the online system.
Prior to this, the Department of Land Management and Records and Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to operate the collateral freehold and release service through the online system.TAG_OPEN_p_7 It is expected that the process of freezing and releasing the mortgaged land through online system would be faster, faster, transparent and easier.
} This is believed to save both time and cost as well as significantly increase customer satisfaction. Established on January 25, 2022 under the full government ownership, Rastriya Banijya Bank has now expanded its services to all 77 districts of the seven provinces and remote areas.
The bank has been providing loans and deposit services through 315 branches.TAG_OPEN_p_5 In addition, it has been providing modern digital banking services including ATM, mobile banking, etc.
