Kathmandu. Patan High Court has ordered the release of six people on bail in connection with the Rs 48 crore Prabhu Bank fraud case.
The apex court has ordered the release of former chief business officer of Prabhu Bank Rashmi Panta, Rajendra Shrestha, branch managers Santosh Gyawali and Shishir Poudel, and managers of the bank Nanda Raj Joshi and Shashidhar Sharma.
Pant has been released on bail of Rs 50 lakh, Sharma Rs 2 crore, Shishir Poudyal Rs 1 crore, Nanda Raj Joshi Rs 15 lakh, Gyawali Rs 15 lakh and Shrestha Rs 15 lakh.
The case in the Rs 48 crore scam case of Prabhu Bank was not completed on Monday. The hearing of the case was scheduled for August 9 i.e. Tuesday.
The Patan High Court has ordered the release of 6 people on bail today.
Seven people including 5 bankers were named as defendants in the case.
