Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank’s CEO Tara Manandhar is likely to complete his term. There are indications that Prabhu may have to leave the bank after being dragged into the investigation in the bank scam.

He had taken charge of the bank only on May 1. Manandhar, who was accused of misusing bank resources for the Nepali Congress in the last election, may have to step down from the post of CEO in four months.

Police are investigating the case of Janaki Medical College against him.

As soon as the bank got a new CEO, it was found that the auction process was started by ignoring the court. This fact came to light after the victims appealed to various agencies alleging that the auction process was forcibly proceeded despite the court’s order.

Manandhar took charge of the bank from May 14. Pradyuman Pokharel, the then CEO of the bank, was appointed as the CEO of the bank after his tenure was to end in mid-May.

A meeting of the board of directors of the bank held on April 17 appointed Manandhar to the post for a four-year term effective from May 15.

Manandhar has also worked in the managerial role of various commercial banks. However, now there are indications that Prabhu may have to leave the bank after being dragged into the investigation in the bank scam.
