Kathmandu. Machhapuchchhre Bank has been honored with two international awards. The bank has received two prestigious international awards for outstanding performance in customer service, digital innovation and risk management.
The bank has received the prestigious ‘Platinum Award’ in the category of ‘Maximizing Customer Engagement’ under the ‘Infosys Final Innovation Award 2026’. The award was given to the bank for its ‘Reinventing Customer Onboarding’ initiative aimed at making banking services simpler, easier and more effective, including the process of opening an account for customers.
The Infosys Finacle Innovation Award recognises the outstanding work done by banks and financial institutions across the globe in technology and innovation, with Machhapuchchhre Bank winning the award from more than 500 applications this year. Similarly, the bank has received another international award in the category of ‘Best Performance on Risk Management’. The award was presented to the bank at the ‘Fourth Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards 2026’ organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi.
The award has been given to the bank for its proactive performance in lending, operations, markets and liquidity risk management and safe and responsible banking practices. These two awards have made it clear that the bank has given high priority to digital transformation and risk management.
Machhapuchchhre Bank has been receiving various prestigious international awards over the years. In the past, the bank has received many accolades such as Visa Leadership Conclave Award (2023 and 2024), Infosys Final Innovation Award (2023 and 2025) and Rising Star in Asset Quality Award 2025. Such international achievements have taken the quality of banking services and managerial efficiency of the bank to greater heights.
