Prabhu Bank Hands Over Bunk Beds to Shelter (Yellow Gumba) for Disaster Affected Families

Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank Limited has handed over bunk beds to the shelter (yellow gumba) for the families affected by the disaster. The bank has handed over 6 two-storey beds to the yellow gumba as part of its corporate social responsibility.

In view of the immediate needs of the families dependent on the monastery due to the natural disasters and floods in the country, the bank has provided 6 two-storey beds to the Yellow Monastery in Kathmandu as an additional support. The bank provided the assistance under its Social Responsibility (CSR) after it was identified that the two storey beds were necessary for the affected families.

The bank believes that this assistance will further facilitate the affected families living in relief and shelter facilities. Earlier, the bank has also provided relief assistance to the families affected and homeless due to the devastating floods. 2 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 111 hundred rupees as well as the directors and employees of Prabhu Bank voluntarily collected Rs. 40 lakh 80 thousand 50 rupees to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

The bank also handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot as part of its corporate social responsibility to provide relief to the flood-affected families.

In addition, Prabhu Bank had launched a nationwide blood donation program in all seven provinces of the country with the belief that the bank would help the affected and injured. Prabhu Bank has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the domestic and foreign citizens who lost their lives due to natural disasters.
