Profit of self-reliant microfinance companies increases

Kathmandu. The profit of self-reliant microfinance companies has increased. In the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2082-83, the profit of the microfinance company has increased by 39.55 percent.

The company made a profit of Rs 6.23 crore. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4.84 crore in the same period of the previous FY.  The profit of the microfinance has increased.

Similarly, the interest income of the microfinance company has also increased by 13.16 percent. The interest income of the microfinance company has increased to Rs 15.36 crore.

Such income was Rs 13.57 crore in the previous year.

Bad loans of microfinance companies decreased to 10.78 percent while microfinance companies reported a loss of Rs 56.1 million.

Similarly, the capital fund ratio of microfinance is 15.73 percent.
