Kathmandu. It has been found that Himalayan Bank has pasted a notice that eSewa will not work. Himalayan Bank (HBL) has issued a notice stating that the entire transaction has been affected due to the problem in Nepal’s first mobile wallet eSewa.
Himalayan Bank has pasted a notice on the counter of the Nepal Army Petrol Pump at Bhadrakali that reads, “QR scan will be done, there will be no eSewa”.
Customers who knew that the bank would not be able to pay through e-sewa have started using the bank’s QR saying that e-sewa is not working.
