Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue debentures to its shareholders. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to issue debentures worth Rs 15 billion on July 14.
The central bank is set to issue ‘Nepal Rastra Bank Debenture 2084 BS’ today. The interested investors can apply for the debentures from class ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’.
The debentures will be auctioned till 3:00 pm today. The interest rate of these bonds will be determined through bidding.
It is a one-year bond. The principal payment will be made on July 29, 2084 and the interest will be paid half-yearly. The interested bidders can bid for the debentures up to a minimum of Rs 5 crore and a maximum of Rs 5 crore.
The debentures can be used as collateral in Nepal Rastra Bank and other banks and financial institutions.
