Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: NIC ASIA Bank has launched a Financial Literacy Program on the occasion of Global Money Week 2026. The bank organized week-long programs among thousands of students and youths throughout the country with the objective of raising public awareness.
As part of this year’s Global Money Week 2026 organized by Nepal Rastra Bank, the bank has conducted financial knowledge, skills and attitude enhancement programs for students and youths at local level schools and colleges in the financial literacy campaign.
More than 4,100 students and youths have been benefitted from more than 67 programs conducted during the week. In addition, the bank created various materials to promote financial literacy and awareness under the Nepal Rastra Bank’s campaign and published it on the bank’s social media.
According to the directives issued by Nepal Rastra Bank to all the banks and financial institutions, the various programs and other materials organized by the bank will further help in enhancing financial literacy, awareness and skills among children, students and youths.
