Kathmandu. Kumari Bank has filed another writ petition against the Supreme Court’s order. Earlier, the Supreme Court had issued an interim order not to implement the action taken against Kumari Bank’s officer Trupti Rana for the time being.
The bank had filed a writ petition against Rana on September 22 seeking quashing of the interim order. However, even though the hearing was scheduled on different dates, the writ petition filed by the bank against Rana was ‘not maintainable’.
Trupti Rana, an officer of Kumari Bank, has also filed a writ petition against the bank’s central office, board of directors and chief executive officer Ram Chandra Khanal.
Although the hearing was scheduled for September 30 in a joint bench of Justices Nripa Dhwaj Niraula and Shanti Singh Thapa, the case has been ‘not heard’. The next hearing is scheduled for October 21. See also:
