. The aggrieved savers of Karnali Development Bank have threatened to launch a decisive protest if their demands are not addressed. The Karnali Development Bank Victims’ Central Struggle Committee has issued this warning in a post on social media.
The committee has stated that although it has been putting forth legitimate demands from the Nepal Rastra Bank through memorandums from time to time, no clear written plan, criteria, proposal or official report has been made public so far regarding the return of the savings amount or to fully operate the bank.
The
committee has announced that the next movement will be ‘decisive’. All 19 branches of Karnali Development Bank in Banke, Bardiya and Dang districts are preparing to participate in the agitation.
KATHMANDU: The Central Struggle Committee has called on the victims, savers, investors and all stakeholders of Karnali Development Bank to unite in the agitation.
