Kathmandu. The office hours of banks and financial institutions have also been changed. With the government’s decision to give public holidays on Saturday and Sunday, the time schedule of banks and financial institutions has also been changed.
All banks, development banks, finance banks, microfinance institutions and microfinance institutions will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a circular to banks and financial institutions, Infrastructure Development Bank and Nepal Clearing House Limited asking them to provide banking services from 9:00 am.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has declared a public holiday on every Saturday and Sunday coming into effect from April 6, 2082. Accordingly, the office hours have also been changed. See this notice issued by the Rastra Bank:
