Kathmandu. Newly appointed Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Dirgha Bahadur Rawal has taken the oath of office and secrecy. Governor Prof. Dr. He administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bishwanath Poudel.
He has also assumed office today. Rawal has been appointed as the Deputy Governor as per the decision of the Council of Ministers of Nepal on August 17, 2083.
On the occasion, Governor Poudel congratulated Deputy Governor Rawal and wished him a successful term. Deputy Governor Rawal joined the bank as an assistant director on January 15, 2006.
He was promoted to deputy director in 2069 BS, director in 2075 BS and executive director on June 2, 2082. After his promotion, he was heading the bank supervision department.
