Kathmandu. Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited is issuing debentures. The bank is issuing debentures worth Rs 3 billion from July 28.
The bank is going to issue “Laxmi Sunrise Debenture 2092”. A total of 30 lakh units of the issue will be issued at a face value of Rs 1,000. Out of the total units, 18 lakh units will be issued to individuals and the remaining 12 lakh units will be issued to the general public.
The total number of units to be issued to the general public is 5 percent and 60,000 units have been set aside for mutual funds. The general public can apply for the remaining 11.40 lakh units.
The interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and maximum of all units of shares. The interested bidders can apply for the shares from the banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASBA service from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and their branches.
The bond issuance will close on August 19 at the earliest and on August 12 after the banking hours. The debenture is for a period of 10 years. The investors will get 7 percent interest annually. Machhapuchchhre Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the issue.
