Bhotekoshi flood update: 1,457 dead bodies found, employees of banks and financial institutions still out of contact

A total of 1,455 dead bodies were recovered in 1,455 people including 236 in Rasuwa, 205 in Nuwakot, 73 in Dhading, 369 in Chitwan, 80 in Gorkha, 38 in Tanahun, 232 in Nawalparasi East and 222 in Nawalparasi West.

Also, two people died during treatment in Kathmandu. So far, 1,334 bodies have been managed (preserved under the soil) by collecting DNA samples for the identification of the dead bodies. A total of 3,419 DNA samples, including 1,337 of dead bodies and 2,082 of relatives, have been collected for the identification of dead bodies.
