Rabin Sijapati, the third man of Nepal Investment Mega Bank, has resigned from the bank.

Kathmandu. Rabin Sijapati, third man of Nepal Investment Mega Bank, has resigned from his post on Tuesday. Sijapati, the senior deputy general manager of the bank, has resigned from his post amid a string of troubles in the bank’s leadership.

It is understood that he left the bank effective from mid-July.

Jyoti Prakash Pandey, chief executive officer of Sijapati Bank, and Mahesh Sharma Dhakal, deputy CEO of Sijapati Bank were in the third position in the bank. His position is considered to be the same responsibility and status as the Deputy CEO.

Having been active in the banking sector since long, Mr. Sijapati had played a significant role in managing and running Nepal Investment Mega Bank.

With his departure, there is speculation that there may be some changes in the management structure of the bank. The resignation of the senior officer has been seen as meaningful at a time when various issues related to the leadership and management of the bank have been discussed in recent times.
