Kathmandu. A man has been arrested in connection with a banking fraud case. The arrested is Prakash Thapa, a resident of Chapagaun, Lalitpur.
He was sentenced to two years in prison for dishonouring a cheque and was arrested by the police.TAG_OPEN_p_6
The court sentenced Thapa to 2 years in jail and he absconded. A police team deputed from the District Police Range, Lalitpur arrested him acting on a tip-off.
He is currently in police custody.
