Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has decided to invest in fixed deposits of banks and financial institutions. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has decided to invest more than Rs 7 billion in fixed deposits of banks and financial institutions.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is going to invest the amount in the gratuity and pension fund. The central bank is going to invest Rs 7.30 billion.
Banks and financial institutions have been urged to propose interest rates indicating the amount they want to take as fixed deposit for 366 days.
