Kathmandu. Nabil Bank Limited has handed over a service vehicle (auto) to the Manav Sewa Ashram in Janakpur, Dhanusha. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank Manoj Kumar Gyawali handed over the vehicle to the chairman of Ashram, Ramji Adhikari.
The bank handed over the service vehicle to the Ashram as part of its corporate social responsibility. Pawan Singhania, guardian of the Janakpur-based Ashram, expressed his confidence that the service vehicle provided by the bank would be easier in the time of the Ashram’s service flow and daily work. CEO Gyawali said that the work done by the Ashram for proper management of the people dependent on the road is commendable. He said that the bank is happy to support this noble cause.
Saying that Nabil Bank is always ready to carry out any work related to the service and welfare of mankind, he expressed his hope that Nabil Bank was ready to partner with the Ashram in future as well.
Ramji Adhikari, chief founder of Manab Sewa Ashram, said that it has been difficult to carry out daily work and serve the target people in the ashram located in Janakpur due to the lack of service vehicles (autos). In such a situation, the service vehicle provided by Nabil Bank will help to make the service easy and fast.
“We were facing problems in rescuing people on the road and providing daily services and support in the ashram. We believe that this service will be made easier once the service vehicle (auto) is available. We are thankful to Nabil Bank for this noble cause,” he shared.
Earlier, Nabil Bank had provided two rescue vehicles to the Ashram.
The Manav Sewa Ashram has been established since 2060 BS with the objective of providing minimum humanitarian services to the people dependent on the road who are forced to live a very difficult life under the open sky without their family and relatives. The ashram has expanded its service centers in all seven provinces and has opened about 13,000 people.
