Share price adjustment of two banks, Nabil Bank’s Rs 539 and Garima’s Rs 414

KATHMANDU: The share prices of two banks have been adjusted on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday. After the book closure of Nabil Bank and Garima Bikas Bank for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution, Nepse has adjusted the share price according to the bonus shares.

NEPSE has adjusted the price on the basis of 5 percent bonus shares of Nabil Bank and 10 percent bonus shares of Garima Development Bank. After the adjustment, the share price of Nabil Bank has been reduced to Rs 539.5 per share.

Similarly, the adjusted share price of Garima Development Bank was fixed at Rs 414.55. NEPSE has adjusted the share price of both the banks based on the last trading price on Tuesday.

Shares of Nabil Bank and Garima Bikas Bank were last traded at Rs 566 in the secondary market on Tuesday. Based on the adjusted price, the shares of both banks will open trading in the secondary market from Wednesday.
