Kathmandu. Due to the floods in Rasuwa, billions of investments of banks have been washed away in an instant. Many houses, vehicles and other infrastructure have also been washed away by the floods. The direct impact of this has been on the balance sheet of the banks.
According to the floods, the flood swept away the branches of Kumari Bank in Timure, Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited, Nabil Bank Limited, Timure branch, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Nepal Investment Mega Bank, Global IME Bank and Sanima Bank.
Some of the bank’s employees have been incommunicado due to the floods. Millions of rupees in the bank have also been washed away by the floods.
