Kathmandu. Machhapuchchhre Bank has launched a new loan scheme called MBL IT Loan. Machhapuchchhre Bank has introduced a new loan scheme called MBL IT Loan with an aim to promote digital transformation.
The loan scheme aims to empower IT professionals and entrepreneurs, which is expected to encourage innovations in the IT sector and further strengthen the emerging IT ecosystem in Nepal.
In addition, the loan aims to provide easy financial access to Nepal’s IT-software companies to finance current capital, infrastructure and expansion operations. Only businesses registered with the concerned government agency will be eligible to take loans under this scheme.
These include IT-software firms (sole or partnership), private limited companies and such companies have to pay taxes like PAN, VAT regularly. Such companies should work in software development, IT outsourcing, IT services, cybersecurity, fintech, AI, machine learning, etc. and have been in operation for at least two years.
