Kathmandu. Last rites of Pitambar Khadka, an employee of Global IME Bank, who lost his life by placing the picture of 4 senior managers of the bank, have been cremated. They were cremated after the post-mortem report.
Some employees of the bank were also present at the funeral. However, no one from the head office has gone to the funeral, a banker said. At first, the family was adamant that the body would not be received. However, the body was cremated after being persuaded by the locals and the police said that they would also investigate the matter.
After the death of an employee of Global IME Bank by mentioning the names of his bosses, the bank has started internal discussions on some compensation and settling the case by employing family members.
According to a senior official of the bank, in this case, there has been a discussion within the bank about the option of controlling the damage and reuniting the family.
Earlier, in another bank, when an employee committed suicide, his wife was given a job.
After the employees of the bank blamed their senior bosses and died, other employees of the bank have also started speaking out on this issue.
They have started opening their mouths saying that the bank has been harassing the whole and that too the excesses of HR head Anamika Singh.
