Nabil Bank Invites Applications for Nabil SSE Fellowship 7th Group and Certificate Course

Kathmandu. Nabil Bank Limited has invited applications for the seventh cohort of Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship (Nabil SSE) Fellowship Programme and a new batch of Nabil SSE Certificate Course. The bank has invited applications for both the programmes being conducted under the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme on Tuesday, September 30.

Interested applicants can apply till October 12, 2026.

Citizens of Nepal who are up to 18 years of age and have innovative entrepreneurial ideas can apply. After application, those who are selected must maintain at least 90 percent attendance in the program. The bank has been conducting these programs in continuation of its commitment to promote entrepreneurship as a means of contributing to inclusive and sustainable economic development.

The bank will encourage committed and capable entrepreneurs from women, youth, poor, disadvantaged persons and marginalized communities to apply, aiming to create sustainable enterprises and employment as well as contribute to greater community development. Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank, said, “Through SSE, we are not only investing in entrepreneurship but also in capacity building of individuals who can create sustainable economic opportunities within their communities.

“As we open applications to the seventh fellowship cohort and new cohort of certificate courses, we aim to identify committed entrepreneurs, build their capacities, and connect them with the knowledge, networks, and entrepreneurship ecosystem needed to build sustainable enterprises and contribute to inclusive economic development in Nepal,” CEO Gyawali said.

According to the bank, 1,580 participants have been trained so far through the fellowship program and certificate course. The trainees have established 318 enterprises and created direct and indirect employment and livelihood opportunities for 19,303 people. So far, 113 people have been trained through the fellowship program from six groups. Out of which 93 fellow-led enterprises are in operation. Similarly, 1,467 participants have benefited from the certificate course. In addition, 225 enterprises have been established, according to the bank.

Established in 2021 as Nabil Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Nabil SSE Fellowship provides aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, resources, networks and financial access opportunities they need to develop their businesses. According to the Bank, through two complementary programs, namely the Fellowship Program and the Certificate Course, Nabil SSE combines practical entrepreneurship with mentorship, experience sharing opportunities, peer learning, academic partnerships, and engagement with the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Nabil SSE Fellowship Program is a 6-month enterprise development program conducted in collaboration with the School of Management, Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. It will help the participants to develop the necessary capacity to develop, strengthen and expand their enterprises.

Similarly, the Nabil SSE Certificate Course is a three-month practical entrepreneurship development program. It targets students, aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage founders and micro and small entrepreneurs. The program provides the necessary knowledge to identify opportunities, test business concepts, build practical business models and strengthen enterprises. This year, applications for the certificate course are open through 10 educational implementation partner organizations across the country. The program will be conducted through Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus in Koshi Province, Birgunj Public College and Monastic Secondary English Boarding School in Madhesh Province, Campion College and Budhanilkantha School in Bagmati Province, Dibyajyoti Multiple Campus, Kshitij International College and Kohalpur Model College in Lumbini Province, Surkhet Model College in Karnali Province and Far-Western Academy in Sudurpaschim Province.
