Indus Bikas Bank provides color television to school

Kathmandu. Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited has handed over a color television to the school. KATHMANDU: With an aim to expand access of digital education to community schools, Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited has handed over a color television channel to Indreshwari Secondary School, located in Sindhupalchowk district.

The television provided under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the bank is believed to help create a technology-friendly teaching-learning environment in the school. Assistant Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of Sindhu Bikas Bank Pramod Neupane handed over the television to the school principal Devi Shrestha.

Branch Manager of Melamchi Branch, Sitaram Dulal, was also present on the occasion.

Pramod Neupane, ACEO, said that the Bank is always committed to promoting quality education and expressed the belief that such support would contribute positively to the development of digital education in community schools.

Expressing gratitude to the bank for the support, School Principal Devi Shrestha expressed his confidence that such equipment would play a significant role in making classrooms more effective than digital medium.

As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Sindhu Bikas Bank has been conducting various programs related to education, health, financial literacy and social development.
