Laxmi Sunrise fraud case: Victim claims to have filed complaint against CEO Shah, will he be arrested?

Kathmandu. The victim’s party claimed that an arrest warrant has been issued against 4 people, including former CEO of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Suman Sharma, in connection with the fraud and breach of trust case.

The victim’s party has also filed a complaint against the current CEO of the bank for allegedly selling their property to others without any mistake.

According to the claim of the victim’s side, even though the loan was approved, the money was not available and later the mortgage was auctioned. The victim claims that the current CEO Shah did not agree even when he wrote a letter to return his property in this case, and a complaint was filed against him for investigation and action.

Police have already issued arrest warrants against 4 persons including the then CEO of Sunrise Bank.

Some mediation is also being done to try to reach a consensus between the bank’s team and the aggrieved party, and if not, the possibility of arresting the current CEO cannot be ruled out.
