Saptakoshi Development Bank to hold its Annual General Meeting on June 28

Kathmandu. Saptakoshi Development Bank has called its general meeting. The bank has called its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The board of directors of the bank has decided to hold the meeting on June 28 at 11:00 am at Hotel Rubiz, Dharan Road, Biratnagar, Morang.

The meeting will open the door for merger with other suitable banks and financial institutions. For this, if it is necessary to carry out merger and acquisition, the Board of Directors will approve a special proposal to proceed with the work by following all the procedures.

The meeting will also endorse a special proposal to appoint an accredited valuer to evaluate the movable and immovable assets and liabilities and transactions in the merger and acquisition, and authorize the Board of Directors to carry out all the works including determination of his/her remuneration.

The meeting will approve the annual report of the last fiscal year 2081/82 and the proposal related to the appointment of the auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for the current fiscal year 2082/83.

The bank has decided to close the book from June 15 to June 28 for the purpose of the meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the company before June 2 will be eligible to participate in the AGM of the bank.
