Banks to keep their branches open even during holidays, aim to provide banking services to flood victims

Kathmandu. Banks and financial institutions have decided to keep their branch offices open despite the continuous holidays. In the aftermath of the devastating floods in Rasuwa, banks and financial institutions have decided to keep their branches open to facilitate financial access to the citizens.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to provide essential banking services even during public holidays in the aftermath of the devastating floods in Rasuwa district.

Earlier, the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) had directed the flood-affected people to continue essential services to receive relief money, to carry out necessary financial transactions and to facilitate financial access for rescue and rehabilitation works.
