Kathmandu. NMB Bank has provided assistance to the people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods. NMB Bank has donated Rs 3.5 crore to help in the relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank handed over a cheque of Rs. A cheque of Rs. 3.5 crore fifty-one lakh to the Finance Minister.
In addition, the bank has provided relief materials worth Rs. One million rupees to the citizens of the affected areas. Due to the sudden floods, there has been a lot of damage in the riverine areas including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan.
The floods have caused loss of life and property, displaced many families and have also greatly affected roads, local infrastructure and hydropower projects. The bank has provided this assistance by standing with the affected citizens in this difficult situation.
The bank believes that this will help in the treatment of flood victims, provision of food and shelter, and reconstruction and rehabilitation of damaged structures. See also:
