Kathmandu. The 25th Annual General Meeting of Siddhartha Bank Limited has been concluded. The bank has approved a proposal to distribute 10 percent bonus shares and 10 percent cash dividend to the shareholders. <\/p>\n
The meeting was held at the Army Officers’ Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Rahul Agrawal, chairman of the board of directors of the bank. The meeting approved a proposal to issue 10 percent bonus shares of the bank’s ordinary shares of Rs 14.79 billion or Rs 1.47 billion. <\/p>\n
It also approved a proposal to distribute a cash dividend of Rs 1,47,94,47,920 at the rate of 10 per cent. The cash dividend will also include the amount required for tax purposes of bonus shares and cash dividends, the bank said. The meeting also passed a proposal to distribute cash dividend at the rate of 8.25 per cent to the shareholders of the unreleased reserve preference shares. The dividend of Rs 10,75,89,041 will be distributed proportionately for the 136 days up to the end of July 2083 on the basis of the paid-up capital of Rs 3.50 billion in preference shares of the bank. <\/p>\n
The meeting also approved the annual report of the board of directors for the financial year 2082\/83, the auditor’s report, financial statements for the end of July, profit and loss statements, cash flow statement and changes in its capital.
