Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has completed a financial literacy program. The financial literacy program was organized by Nepal Medical Association with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and skills of more than 60 women doctors of Nepal Medical Association in financial management, budget making, savings, investment and tax management. <\/p>\n
President of Nepal Medical Association Dr. Badri Rijal presided over the program which was presided over by the trainers who provided information on financial management to the participating women doctors through presentations, interactions and practical facilitation. Dr. Sujita Hirachan highlighted the need and importance of financial management, budget determination and tax management for doctors. The program was facilitated by CA Anupama Sangraula and Jinusha Palikhe Shrestha, Head of Digital Operations Department and Surya Kanta Neupane, Loan Officer. <\/p>\n
They provided practical information to the participating doctors on personal financial planning, budgeting, savings, investment, tax management and long-term financial security. Chairman of the program and President of Nepal Medical Association Dr. Badri Rijal said that doctors should give equal priority to financial management along with their profession. He said that financial knowledge and systematic financial planning are important for personal and family financial security along with the professional life of doctors. Chairman Rijal thanked Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and all the concerned parties for their support in making the program a success. <\/p>\n
Program Coordinator Dr. Nisha Acharya said that financial literacy is an important and necessary subject for women doctors and such programs will help in enhancing financial decision-making capacity. Former President of Nepal Medical Association Dr. Lochan Karki was present as a special guest on the occasion. Similarly, Dr. Yubin Yadav, Member of Nepal Medical Council. Dr. Yubin Yadav, Executive Member of Nepal Medical Association. Dr. Bina Shrestha was present as a guest. <\/p>\n
The bank believes that the program will enable the participants to manage their income properly, make financial plans for the future and make financial decisions.
