Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has conducted an interactive program on financial literacy, life skills, goal setting and future guidance for around 150 students of class 9 and 10 under &#8216;Sarvodaya Chautari&#8217; program organized by Sarvodaya Bal Club at Sarvodaya English Boarding Secondary School, Damak. <\/p>\n<p>The chief guest of the program and Koshi Province Chief of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, Khimlal Bhusal presented to the students about life useful skills, self-discipline, decision-making ability, time management and how to face challenges. He said that developing the necessary skills in practical life along with educational knowledge is an important basis for future development. Similarly, Sushil Poudel, Head of Branding, CSR and Marketing of the Bank, highlighted the importance of goal setting, future direction and proper guidance. <\/p>\n<p>He encouraged the students to identify their interests, abilities and priorities, set clear goals, transform them into a phased plan and move towards the goal through continuous learning and self-evaluation. In the program, practical examples were also discussed with the students about financial literacy, basic knowledge about savings and investments, the difference between needs and wants, planned use of money and responsible financial behavior. It was emphasized that the habit of being aware of financial decisions from the student age will help in developing responsible financial behavior in the future. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the relationship between the mentor and the student in the personal and professional development of the student and the importance of the right guidance was also discussed. The students were informed about the practice of taking timely guidance from experienced and trusted people, asking questions, taking suggestions and putting the learning into practice to help them make the right decision and move towards their goals. In the program, the students discussed their curiosity, future plans and career thoughts with the speakers. <\/p>\n<p>The bank hopes that such programs will help students develop financial awareness, practical life, skills and a clear vision of the future along with textbook knowledge. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has been continuously promoting financial awareness, responsible financial behavior and development of life skills among students, youth and the community through various initiatives related to financial literacy and corporate social responsibility. <\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
