Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has provided financial assistance to the people affected by the floods in Rasuwa. The bank has provided financial assistance of Rs. 25 lakhs to the people affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa for the night, rescue and rehabilitation work. <\/p>\n
As per the decision of the Board of Directors of the bank, it has been decided to contribute a total of Rs 25 lakh under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the bank and Rs 15 lakh as one day’s salary of the employees working in the bank. The amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. <\/p>\n
The bank believes that this assistance will further support the relief and rescue operations to address the immediate needs of the families and communities affected by natural disasters. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has been continuously supporting various disaster-affected communities, humanitarian assistance and social welfare. <\/p>\n
The bank expressed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The bank also extended its best wishes for the safe and easy life of all the affected citizens. <\/p>\n
The bank would like to express its sincere gratitude to all the security personnel, government and non-government organizations, local levels, volunteers and all the supporting hands who have been actively involved in rescue, relief and management during the time of disaster. <\/p>\n
