Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank’s manager Ramesh Thapa has stated that he was not involved in the loan disbursement of Rs 480 million in the name of Asian Village Resort Pvt Ltd. <\/p>\n

In the document related to the incident, Thapa has stated that he is currently working as a manager in the integrated services and implementation department of the bank and has been working in the department for the past 7 months.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, he was working in the human resources department of the bank and had been working in Prabhu Bank for about 5 years.<\/p>\n

He claimed that he was not aware of the loan flow as it was not under his responsibility. <\/p>\n

The CIB has also recorded statements of six other bankers, including five bankers, who have been booked in connection with the Rs 48 crore fraud case. <\/p>\n

Dipendra Babu Bista working in the marketing department of the bank and 6 other bankers have also given statements in the case of Prabhu Bank. <\/p>\n

The charge sheet along with their statements has already been registered at the Patan High Court.\u00a0 This is the statement given by the bank’s manager Ramesh Thapa to the police: <\/strong><\/p>\n
