Kathmandu. Sunil Rana, chief manager of Prabhu Bank, has also given a statement. Sunil Rana, chief manager of Prabhu Bank, has also testified before the police in connection with the Rs 48 crore fraud case. <\/p>\n

Rana said he was not aware that Rs 31 crore and Rs 17 crore were pre-disbursed by obtaining approval from the concerned officials of the bank in course of loan approval. <\/p>\n

According to him, he has only recently come to know that the pre-disbursement was done on the basis of the branch’s email, ignoring the issues mentioned by the credit chain in the loan file. <\/p>\n

The CIB has also recorded statements of six other bankers, including five bankers, who have been booked in connection with the Rs 48 crore fraud case. <\/p>\n

Dipendra Babu Bista working in the marketing department of the bank and 6 other bankers have also given statements in the case of Prabhu Bank. <\/p>\n

The charge sheet along with their statements has already been registered at the Patan High Court. Sunil Rana, the chief manager of the bank, gave a statement to the police: <\/strong><\/p>\n
