Dipendra Babu Bista working in the marketing department of the bank and 6 other bankers have also given statements in the case of Prabhu Bank. The charge sheet along with their statements has already been registered at the Patan High Court. <\/p>\n
The bank’s employees Dipendra Babu Bista, Shailendra Dangol, Angel Sharma, Sunil Rana, Ramesh Thapa and Yogesh Poudel have given statements to the bank. <\/p>\n
The District Attorney’s Office has filed a charge sheet at the Patan High Court on the basis of an investigation by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on the charge sheet filed by the Asian Village Resort for providing loan to the hotel. According to the CIB investigation, Shashir Sharma, the proprietor of Asian Village Resort Pvt Ltd, had taken a loan of Rs 48 crore to buy land for the construction of Asian Villages Resort. However, it has been revealed that he misused the money to repay other loans and reconcile loans. <\/p>\n
The court has demanded a fine of Rs 480 million and an equivalent fine and imprisonment of 6 to 8 years. It has also demanded the issuance of an arrest warrant against former CEO Sherchan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
