<\/p>\nKathmandu. Nepal National Insurance Agents Association has expressed its objection. KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has strongly objected to the company’s mismanagement of its agents. <\/p>\n
According to the association, the agents who have contributed to the company through the first insurance premium collection after putting in hard work and sweat throughout the year and have fulfilled the goals set by the company were mistreated in the program called for honor. <\/p>\n
The union has accused the government of creating a division among the agents by insulting the trade union leadership which is duly registered with the Department of Labour in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, Trade Union Act and Labour Act. The association has also claimed that the bonus to the insured has been reduced and there has been unequal treatment among the agents. <\/p>\n
The association has strongly condemned the incident saying some agents including Krishna Prasad Acharya were arrested using bouncers, security personnel and police at the hotel where the felicitation program was organized. <\/p>\n
The union has said that the use of police to arrest workers who are organized in accordance with the laws of the state while seeking their organizational identity and rights is an excession to the rule of law and the right of workers to organize. <\/p>\n
The association strongly condemns, condemns and condemns the incident and appeals to the insurance workers, journalists, insurers and the entire justice-loving people to raise voice against the injustice in the interest of agents, insurers and the entire insurance business. <\/p>\n
