Savers of Karnali Development Bank have staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu against the non-refund of their deposits. <\/p>\n<p>Depositors of 19 branches of the bank in Banke, Bardiya and Dang districts gathered in Kathmandu on Monday and protested. <\/p>\n<p>They complain that they have not been able to get their deposits back for a long time and the concerned authorities have not heeded their demands. <\/p>\n<p>During the demonstration, they carried placards with slogans such as &#8216;Take action against those responsible for Karnali Bank scam&#8217;, &#8216;Return the savings of institutions&#8217; and &#8216;Immediately return people&#8217;s deposits&#8217;. <\/p>\n<p>Stating that their savings are at risk due to irregularities in the bank, they have demanded to ensure the return of the money immediately. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
