KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank Limited has planted saplings on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 under the &#8216;One Account, One Tree&#8217; campaign. As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the bank organized a tree plantation at Chaukidanda Tourism Park in Budhanilkantha on Saturday. <\/p>\n<p>A total of 1,500 saplings have been planted in the park and 200 saplings have been planted in other provinces across the country: Koshi 200, Madhesh 250, Gandaki 200, Lumbini 200, Karnali 200 and Sudurpaschim 200. <\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive Officer of the bank Mr. Ganesh Raj Pokharel, Chairman of Ward No. 1 Mr. Surendra Lama and senior management of the bank were present during the program. <\/p>\n<p>As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the bank has also provided support to various community schools and health camps in various parts of the country. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
