The budget for the coming fiscal year 2083-84 has been presented. Finance Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada while presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year 2083\/84 BS. Swarnim Wagle has announced a 10% VAT waiver on digital payments. <\/p>\n<p>Currently, consumers are paying 13 percent tax on VAT, but now there will be a provision to waive 10 percent VAT immediately if they make digital payment while making purchases. <\/p>\n<p>He said that the limit of income tax exemption has been doubled to reduce the tax burden. Now the limit of income tax exemption for individuals has been increased to Rs 10 lakh.
